By the way -- did you ever read a story by Robert Bloch called "The Movie People"? It's a sweet-natured fantasy about movies and the Afterlife. After the disappointment of <cite>Maxie</cite>, it might make a good palate-cleanser. I'm sorting out old ex-rental tapes with a view to selling off things I have in duplicate, and when I'm checking the print quality I make a game out of fast forwarding through the previews and seeing if I can identify the film before the title comes up. *This* was one of the few that left me mystified - a perfect Unknown Movie!
