I can see how bad voice dubbing (or even <I>good</I> voice dubbing) can color one's view of a portrayal in general, and make it harder to look objectively at the rest of the performance, but to imply that it's impossible to say anything about the acting in a role where the voice has been dubbed by another actor seems to me to be overstating the case a bit.
