“Who in their right mind would run for governor when they’re living under an alias, wanted for a capitol crime?”

OK, he’d already been stripped of his medical license and EVERYONE knew who he was, but that comment couldn’t help but remind me of John Brinkley. This man’s story is out of the park “only in America”. Medical fraud, goat testicles, sex, politics, advertising, and pirate radio.

What grabs me in this review is how beautiful the black-and-white photography is.

Too bad that it is essentially dead for major releases. Oh well.

So what’s it with B-movie fans and Joi Lansing?
I remember reading reviews for “The Atomic Submarine”, and most of them seemed excited about her cameo appearance. Is she considered to be like the pinnacle of beauty for 50s cinema?
