There's a sequel called The Empty Chair which I found superior to B.C. -- it gets away from oogie-boogie serial killers and confronts a social issue or two. Haven't read any others in the series. I wonder if the emphasis on super forensics in The Bone Collector might have helped inspire all the CSI bullshit on TV. The CSI show started the year after the B.C. movie.
