Sad to say (if I’m ruining lyzard’s sarcasm), koalas actually are vicious critters that attack violently if disturbed (my kinda varmint, really). Zoo keepers and anyone else handling them have to take the kind of care usually reserved for big predators. Second nastiest marsupial after the Tasmanian devil, and it’s not that distant a second.
