Back by popular demand!
Due to personal issues for one of us, and technical issues for others, the RUBBER SOUL Roundtable has been officially extended until Sunday, 8th June. So expect to see one, hopefully two, maybe even three—
No, I guess that’s overly optimistic. Let’s make it, expect to see two more Roundtable entries during the upcoming week!
Liz Kingsley is the insane genius behind And You Call Yourself a Scientist!« Sadly, the suit is the best part.

I’ll join in with the happiness.
I’m betting I can guess one of the reviews, since “technical issues” seems like a pretty good hint.
Not sure on the second one though. I hope the personal issues weren’t too severe, and are taken care of…
As to that almost-promised third review, I have a hunch on who that almost was…but far be it for me to cast dispersions. (Aspersions? Dammit, where’s my thesaurus?)

Wait — how did this post qualify as “sock-hunting”? Are we just assigning random categories now willy-nilly?!

Well, “I was sock-hunting” is about the standard of the excuse I’m usually given by the non-starters.
(Granted, the excuses are a little better this time around.)

I saw ‘Congo’ last night and I’d like to nominate it as a late entry for the rubber suit thang. It’s sheer bloody minded stupidty is endlessly impressive, another of those movies that believe that the great apes can talk to us, they just choose not to. Also surely the most men in monkey suits ever.
