This is being said by a woman? Wow. Bear in mind, Liz, that I am to martial arts choreography what you are to shark movies and slasher flicks, so what may be substandard to me may still be entertaining to others. And I’m not a fan of sleaze, I simply prefer my kung fu without any nudity and, if possible, with the maximum of female fighting goodness.

So what are the other three Bruce Li flicks. If they include Gold Connection/Iron Dragon Strikes Back, Dynamo, and Bruce Lee’s Secret (with Hwang Jang Lee), you’re in luck.

I’ve been waiting around for an actual uncut copy of this movie for a long time. Well, not really, but if one is available, I’ll be happy. Assuming that it makes its way stateside. I’m still waiting for someone to release the Man with a Suitcase series here, which Australia has had for years.

Hey, generally speaking, I’m in full agreement with you….but not when we’re discussing a Bruce Li film. You have to understand, it’s only very recently that this fringe stuff has started getting a release here. For years I’ve had to import everything I’ve bought. The fact that a few companies have finally realised there is a local market for these obscure films is very exciting to me. (But if it makes you feel any better, I’ve seen all the Bruce Lee-s, and I’m now working my way through the Shaw Bros.)
The other films (only two real ones, now that I look again, along with the compilation Fights Of Fury) are Blind Fists Of Bruce Li aka Deadly Fist and Fist Of Fury III aka Avenging Fury. (Hmm, I’m seeing a pattern here….)

Hmm…Blind Fists of Bruce, I’ve heard of. Fist of Fury III, I think that’s the one with Lo Lieh. If it is, it has a reputation of being one of the better all-around Brucesploitation flicks. I had a lot of chances to rent “Bruce Li in New Guinea” over the years (it pratically screamed my name every time I walked past it at Hollywood). I wonder what would’ve happened to my psyche had I seen it back then.

I got “Fist of Fury II” mixed up with Jackie Chan’s “New Fist of Fury.” I know, I know, Liz. I’m going to hell.
I believe “Gymkata Killer” is also known as “Challenge of the Tiger.” There’s a short review of it on Scott Hamilton’s old blog.

Hey Liz, on the subject of kung fu movies released in Australia, there was a pseudo-Brucesploitation flick starring Bruce Liang (Leung Siu-Lung) that I was only able to acquire on Australian DVD. It’s called “Call Me Dragon” and it’s both very good (some of the best kung fu of the post Bruce Lee-pre Jackie Chan era) and difficult to find. So, I praise Australia for that.

I watched one of the fight scenes to this film, which was substandard. I also understand that the film has full-frontal female nudity in it. It seems that Brucesploitation films were always among the sleaziest martial arts film of all time.
